"I’ve spent forty-one years in this industry," I told them. "I know how a table is built. You need a foundation that can hold the weight. You two," I pointed to Mark and Victoria (who had entered the room behind me, looking smug), "built your foundation on sand."
Victoria crossed her arms. "Thomas, you’re rambling. Board, I suggest we move to the vote immediately. The integrity of Miller Woodcraft is at stake."
"I agree," I said. "Let’s vote. But before we do, I’d like to introduce a guest."
I tapped my phone, and the large projection screen at the front of the room flickered to life. It didn't show my medical records. It showed a map—a visual representation of every shell company transaction associated with GV Holdings.
