Victoria’s defense—that she was merely following medical advice—crumbled the moment the recordings were played in the lobby. The hospital director listened in horror to the voice of the woman he had trusted, discussing “disposal methods” for her husband.
Inside Room 412, the mood was electric. Dr. Harris, now acting as Jonathan’s legal proxy, had moved him to a different facility under heavy guard.
