I started small — helping with contracts, noticing discrepancies. Then I began cultivating relationships with key executives who were tired of Evelyn’s tyranny. I gathered evidence quietly, building my own leverage.
By the time Connor asked for a divorce to be with Vanessa, I was ready.
I had become the shadow CEO — the person who actually made the difficult decisions while Evelyn took the credit.

As the week progressed, more documents surfaced. Board members turned against Evelyn. Major investors pulled out. Connor was stripped of his VP title in an emergency meeting.
