Chapter 6 - The Unwritten HorizonTwo years later, Sterling Holdings was larger, stronger, and more profitable than it had ever been. We had just finalized the acquisition of the historic commercial district on the north side of the city—a massive project that required months of strategic negotiation, sleepless nights, and absolute, uncompromising vision.

I stood on the twentieth-floor balcony of our newly renovated headquarters, looking out over the glittering expanse of Chicago at dusk. The city lights were flickering to life one by one, creating a constellation of industry and ambition that stretched as far as the eye could see.

Instead, they had simply given me the chance to clear away the dead weight and build something unbreakable.

I turned away from the glass, buttoned my jacket, and walked back inside to lead my empire into the light.
