Chapter 5 - The MasterpieceSix months later.

The autumn sun shone brightly over Fifth Avenue in New York City, casting a warm golden light over the newly renovated three-story marble headquarters of Bennett Global Design.
The grand opening was the event of the decade. Thousands of spectators, news crews, and international designers lined the streets behind velvet ropes, eager to catch a glimpse of the woman who had captivated the world’s attention.
Inside the private executive suite on the top floor, Olivia stood before a floor-to-ceiling mirror.
She looked utterly magnificent. She wore a custom-tailored burgundy silk gown that celebrated every lush, gorgeous curve of her body, adorned with a delicate diamond necklace that Lorenzo had presented to her that morning. Her dark hair was styled into soft, elegant waves, her skin glowing with confidence, joy, and inner peace.
She was no longer the quiet, invisible woman trying to hide her body behind a clipboard.
She was Olivia Bennett—the most celebrated architect in the country.
A knock came at the door.
Lorenzo stepped inside. He wore a crisp tailored black suit, looking overwhelmingly handsome. The dark, severe line between his brows had vanished over the last six months, replaced by a permanent look of contentment whenever he was near her.
He walked up behind her, wrapping his strong arms around her waist, pulling her back against his broad chest, resting his chin on her shoulder as they looked into the mirror together.
"You are breathtaking, my queen," Lorenzo murmured softly, kissing her neck.
Olivia smiled, placing her hands over his on her waist. "I couldn't have done any of this without you, Lorenzo. You gave me the courage to stand up."
"You always had the courage, Olivia," Lorenzo corrected her gently, turning her around in his arms to look into her dark, beautiful eyes. "I just built the stage so the world could finally see your light."
He pulled a thin file from his inner jacket pocket and handed it to her.
"What is this?" Olivia asked, opening the folder.
"The final court settlement from the Sinclair liquidation," Lorenzo revealed. "Every single asset, patent, real estate property, and royalty stream formerly owned by the Sinclair family has been legally transferred to your name. You received one hundred and eighty million dollars in direct restitution."
Olivia gasped gently, looking at the staggering numbers on the legal document. "And Vanessa?"
"Vanessa and her father were sentenced to eight years in federal prison last week," Lorenzo stated calmly. "She will spend her time reflecting on her choices."
Olivia closed the folder, setting it on the mahogany desk. She looked up at Lorenzo, feeling a deep, profound sense of closure washed over her heart. The pain, the humiliation, the years of hiding—it had all dissolved into the bright morning sun outside.

"I don't care about their money, Lorenzo," Olivia whispered, wrapping her arms around his neck. "I only care about building something real."
Lorenzo smiled, leaning in until his lips were inches from hers. "Then let’s start with our future."
