Chapter 6 - The Don's QueenOne year later.

The private garden behind the DeMarco estate was transformed into a paradise of white orchids, glowing lanterns, and soft acoustic music.

Seated in the rows of mahogany chairs were fifty of their closest friends and family—including Sophie, who was now the head of hospitality at Olivia’s design firm, Frank the gardener, and Marcus the security guard, all treated as honored guests.

Standing at the altar under a canopy of white roses was Lorenzo DeMarco.

He looked striking in a white tuxedo jacket and black trousers, his eyes fixed on the back of the garden aisle with an intensity that made his heart race faster than any business deal ever had.

The string quartet began to play a slow, romantic melody.

Olivia walked down the aisle.

She was a vision of breathtaking beauty. Her wedding gown was a custom, off-the-shoulder masterpiece of ivory lace and satin, hugging her rich curves with flawless elegance, trailing a six-foot train across the flower-strewn grass. She held a bouquet of white roses, her dark eyes shining with tears of pure joy.

As she reached the altar, Lorenzo stepped forward, taking her hands in his.

"You look like an angel," Lorenzo whispered, his voice trembling slightly with raw emotion.

"And you look like my home," Olivia replied softly.

The priest began the ceremony, his voice floating warmly through the quiet afternoon air.

When it came time for the vows, Lorenzo looked straight into Olivia’s eyes, holding her hands tightly.

"Olivia," Lorenzo said, his deep voice carrying clear and true. "For years, I lived in a world of dark shadows, cold decisions, and heavy burdens. I thought power was about control. But the day you walked into my life, you taught me that true power is about protection, grace, and unconditional love. You built my home, you healed my heart, and today... I give you my life, my name, and my soul."

Tears spilled over Olivia’s cheeks as she smiled brightly.

"Lorenzo," Olivia said, her voice filled with deep devotion. "When the world taught me to hide, you stood in front of me and made the world look at my truth. You saw me when I was invisible. You loved me when I felt unlovable. With you, I am safe, I am cherished, and I am complete."

"By the power vested in me," the priest announced with a warm smile, "I now pronounce you husband and wife. You may kiss the bride!"

Lorenzo didn't hesitate. He pulled Olivia into his arms, wrapping his thick arms around her waist, lifting her slightly off her feet as he pressed a deep, passionate, life-changing kiss onto her lips!

The small crowd erupted into thunderous applause, cheers, and happy tears!

When Lorenzo finally lowered her back to her feet, he kept his hand firmly clasped in hers, turning to face their friends and family as the new Don and Donnatella of the DeMarco family.

Lorenzo looked down at his gorgeous, brilliant wife, a triumphant smile lighting up his handsome face.

"Ready to go home, Mrs. DeMarco?" Lorenzo whispered into her ear.

Olivia looked up at her husband, her dark eyes shining like stars in the evening light.

"I am already home, Lorenzo," Olivia smiled, holding his hand tight as they walked down the aisle together into their bright, beautiful, and limitless forever.
