Chapter 6 - The Velvet Crown and the Golden DawnThree months later.

The winter chill had finally broken over Bellavita City, replaced by the warm, golden light of an early spring afternoon.
The Crystal Ballroom of the Dantis estate was transformed once again, but this time, there were no judges, no corrupt politicians, and no treacherous syndicate capos.
Only the people who mattered.
The room was filled with soft candlelight, white roses, and the gentle strains of a string quartet playing a slow, romantic waltz.
At the head of the grand staircase stood Daisy.
She was wearing a custom-designed ivory silk gown that hugged her full, magnificent curves with breathtaking elegance, cascading down around her feet like liquid moonlight. Resting securely around her throat was the silver-violet Dantis family pendant—not as a stolen heirloom, but as her rightful inheritance.
Her hair was swept up with delicate pearl pins, and her eyes shone with a deep, unshakeable confidence that had nothing to do with society’s approval and everything to do with her own strength.
At the bottom of the grand staircase waited Aleandro.
He wore a classic black tuxedo, his dark eyes fixed entirely on her as she descended the steps. Beside him sat Bruno, wearing a ridiculous red satin bow tie around his massive neck, letting out a soft, happy huff.
When Daisy reached the final step, Aleandro stepped forward. He didn't wait for applause or formalities. He reached out, taking her hands in his, pressing a warm, lingering kiss against her knuckles before sliding a heavy, flawless diamond band right beside the silver pendant resting against her heart.
“You look...” Aleandro whispered, his voice thick with emotion as he stared up at her. “There are no words in any language I know that can describe how stunning you are.”
Daisy smiled, a bright, radiant smile that reached her eyes and illuminated the entire room. She reached up, resting her palm gently against his cheek, feeling the warm stubble beneath her fingers.
“You clean up all right yourself, Mr. Dantis,” she teased softly.
Aleandro chuckled, pulling her flush against his chest in front of their assembled friends and loyal staff. He wrapped his arms around her waist, holding her as if she were the only real thing in a world of shadows.
“My mother’s pendant was forged centuries ago to symbolize the heart of this family,” Aleandro murmured against her ear, his voice rich with absolute devotion. “It finally found the right heart to rest upon.”

Down at their feet, Bruno gave a happy bark, wagging his heavy tail against the marble floor.
And as the music swelled around them under the crystal chandeliers, Daisy knew she had finally found the place where she belonged—not hiding in the shadows, not apologizing for taking up space, but standing proudly at the side of the most feared man in the city, completely, fiercely, and unconditionally loved.
